?· Limerick County Golf Club is situated in the village of Ballyneety, 27km from Shannon International Airport in the southwest of Ireland. The village of Ballyneety is 10km from Limerick City, one of Ireland’s most vibrant cities and recognised internationally as the ???Sports Capital of Ireland’ ?· Limerick County Golf Club is an 18 hole championship standard parkland course. Co-designed by Ryder Cup player, Des Smyth and Irish Amateur International Declan Brannigan the course opened for play in 1994. ?· In 2004, Declan Brannigan was invited to review the entire layout of the course and recommended the redesigning of five holes. The redesigned holes opened for play in April 2005 and they have enhanced the course’s reputation as being one the best in the South West Region. ?· Year round the greens are rated as among the best in the country. The range of tees makes playing the course a most enjoyable experience for all range of handicappers. ?· The nuturing of the wild life in the environs of the five lakes on the course and the large ???sweeps’ of wild flowers throughout make a welcome addition to the golfing experience in Limerick County. ?· The impressive clubhouse which overlooks the 9th and 18th greens offers visitors a warm welcome, high quality facilities and excellent food and beverages. ?· The Driving Range has 18 covered bays and grass practice tees that can accommodate an additional 50 golfers. Also located within the Driving Range is a purpose-built indoor Coaching Centre equipped with state of the art coaching and custom club-fitting equipment.
